The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) successfully administered the SSC GD examination from April 27th to May 30th, 2026. All candidates who appeared for the test are hereby notified that the SSC GD Result 2026 is scheduled for release in August 2026 on the official website, www.ssc.gov.in. The results will be published in a PDF format containing the roll numbers of candidates who qualified in the computer-based test and are shortlisted for the physical examination stage. This recruitment drive aims to fill 25,487 vacancies for Constable (GD) positions across Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau.

The multi-stage selection process for the SSC GD Examination comprises a Computer-Based Examination (CBE), followed by the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification, and a Medical Examination. Result declarations for each phase, accompanied by category-wise cut-off marks, will be posted on the official SSC portal. Once released, candidates can easily access and download their performance results directly from the website.

2. Visit the SSC official website at www.ssc.gov.in using any web browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.).
3. Navigate to the Results Section and click on the results tab on the homepage.
4. Search for "Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026– List of Male candidates provisionally shortlisted selected  OR List of Female candidates provisionally shortlisted for Physical Exam.
5. Click on "Result" and your SSC GD Result PDF containing the roll numbers of selected candidates.
6. Find your roll number in the list and download the result for future reference.
