IBPS Clerk 2026 Selection Process
The IBPS CRP CSA-XIV recruitment follows a two-phase process:
1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main Examination
Qualification in both phases is required for final selection into the clerical cadre. Notably, there is no interview stage for this post; the merit list is prepared entirely based on the performance in the Main examination.

Both the Preliminary and Main exams are conducted as online objective tests. The exam structure is outlined below:
Phase-1: IBPS Clerk Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary exam for CRP CSA-XIV is an online test evaluating the candidate's aptitude, reasoning, and English language skills. It comprises three sections, and candidates must meet the sectional cut-off scores to advance.
Candidates are allotted a time frame of 20 minutes per section. The exam is worth 100 marks total, with variable cut-off marks determined annually by IBPS based on difficulty levels.

Penalty for Wrong Answers: A negative marking scheme is applicable to both Preliminary and Mains stages. One-fourth of the marks assigned to a specific question will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Unanswered questions do not incur a penalty.
Final Score Calculation for IBPS Clerk Exam:

• Scores from the Preliminary Exam (Phase 1) are qualifying only and are not counted for the final selection.
• Candidates must qualify in Phase 2 to be included in the merit list.
