SSC CPO 2026 Eligibility
To apply for the SSC CPO 2026 recruitment, candidates must satisfy specific mandatory eligibility requirements. These criteria are categorized into three main sections. Please review the detailed eligibility guidelines below:
SSC CPO SI Nationality/ Citizenship
To be eligible, a candidate must be:
1. A citizen of India, or
2. A subject of Nepal, or
3. A subject of Bhutan, or
4. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2 and 3 above possesses a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
5. Candidates requiring an eligibility certificate may be permitted to appear for the exam, but the final offer of appointment is contingent upon the issuance of said certificate by the Government of India.
SSC CPO SI Educational Qualification
Educational Qualification for Sub-Inspector (GD) in Delhi Police & CAPFs: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
For the post of Sub-Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police (Males only): Male applicants must possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License (for motorcycle and car) on the date of the Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Candidates without this requirement will be disqualified from the physical assessment stage.

SSC CPO 2026 Application Fee
Mode of Payment: Online only (Net-Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, BHIM, UPI, etc.)
The application fee is Rs. 100/- for male candidates under the General and OBC categories. Female candidates, as well as those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) categories, are fully exempted from the application fee. SSC CPO 2026 Selection Process
