• Candidates are permitted to apply for vacancies in only one state. Applications for multiple states will render the candidate ineligible.
• Candidature is valid only for the state selected during registration. Merit lists will be prepared on a state-wise and category-wise basis.

SBI Apprentice Exam: Objective Online Test
With the exception of the General English section, the exam is available in 13 regional languages, including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu, in addition to English and Hindi.

Test of Local Language
Proficiency in the local language of the applied state is mandatory. Candidates who qualify for the online written examination will proceed to a local language test as part of the final selection process.
Failure to pass the language proficiency test will lead to disqualification. However, candidates possessing 10th or 12th standard mark sheets confirming the study of the opted local language are exempted from this test. The language exam is held at the candidate's own expense at a designated center.

SBI Apprentice 2026 Salary Structure
Apprentices receive an SBI Apprentice Salary consisting of a fixed monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000 for the 1-year duration. Employees are not entitled to additional allowances like DA or HRA.
