Special Condition: Applicants are required to hold either permanent or provisional registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) before the examination date and must provide their registration number during the appointment phase.
RPSC 1st Grade Special Teacher Selection Process 2026
The selection process involves a competitive two-paper written examination. Candidates will be ranked based on their performance in this exam, and the final list will be recommended to the State Government in compliance with Service Rules.

- All questions in both papers will be Multiple Choice Type (Objective Type).
- There will be negative marking of 1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.
- Each question will have 5 options marked as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 — candidates must darken only one circle using a Blue Ball Point Pen.
- If a candidate does not attempt a question, they must darken circle '5'. If none of the five circles is darkened, 1/3 marks will be deducted.
- A candidate who has not darkened any of the five circles in more than 10% questions shall be disqualified.
