Important Guidelines for Mains:

  1. The total marks allotted for all the sections is 200 and the total time allotted for completing the Preliminary exam is 120 minutes.
  2. Candidates have to secure minimum marks separately for each test as well as in aggregate.
  3. There will be a negative marking of ¼th mark for each incorrect answer.

RBI Grade B Mains Exam Pattern for DR (General)

1. The total weightage for the RBI Grade B Mains examination is 300 marks. 

2. The Phase-II examination for the General post includes three distinct papers (Paper I, Paper II, and Paper III). 

3. Candidates are required to appear for all scheduled examination shifts. 

4. The conducting body will issue separate admission letters for each examination shift. 

5. Only candidates who successfully qualify for Phase-I based on the board's specified cut-off marks will be eligible to appear for the Phase-II online examination. 

6. The Phase-II examination is conducted in multiple shifts, and attendance in every shift is mandatory for candidates.

1. Selection for the RBI Grade B- DEPR post involves an online/written examination followed by a personal interview.

2. The examination consists of three papers: Paper I (Objective Economics) and Papers II & III (Descriptive Type). 

3. Candidates must achieve the minimum prescribed aggregate score in Paper I to qualify for evaluation in Papers II and III.

4. Final selection is based on the cumulative performance in Papers I, II, and III, plus the interview, which carries 75 marks.

3. Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks in Paper I to be shortlisted for the descriptive Papers II and III.

4. The final merit list is prepared based on performance across all three papers and the interview round, which is worth 75 marks.
