Educational Qualification Requirements

  • General category candidates must have secured at least 55% marks (without gracing or rounding off) in the Master's or equivalent examination.
  • OBC/SBC/DT(VJ)/NT (non-creamy layer) and SC/ST/Transgenders/PwD/Orphans must secure at least 50% marks (without gracing or rounding off) in Masters or equivalent Examination.
  • Candidates can appear for the MH SET Exam in the subject of their Post Graduation only.

Note: There is no upper age limit for candidates applying for the MH SET.

How to Fill MH SET Application Form 2026

  1. Go to the official website of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) at www.setexam.unipune.ac.in.
  2. On the homepage, click on the link that reads β€œApply for M-SET held on 26th July 2026 (Sunday)” (Note: dates may appear as per portal layout references).
  3. For new registration, click on the tab β€˜New User Registration for SET Exam.’
  4. To complete the registration process, enter a valid email ID and password and click on the Submit tab.
  5. After the successful registration process, submit your application form by providing your personal details, education, and other required details.
  6. Upload a scanned copy of your Photo and Signature (Photo Size: 50KB JPG/ JPEG)/(Signature Size: 30KB JPG/ JPEG).
  7. Pay the application fee for the MH SET Examination as per category and click on the final submit tab.

The written examination consists of two papers with a collective duration of 3 hours:
