The MHT CET 2026 examination will be administered in an online Computer Based Test (CBT) format. MHT CET Exam Date 2026 Out

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has finalized the MHT CET 2026 Exam Date for the 2nd session. The exams are scheduled from May 10th to May 21st, 2026. Specifically, the PCB Group (Session 2) will be held on May 10th and 11th, 2026, while the PCM Group (Session 2) is scheduled from May 12th to May 21st, 2026 (excluding May 16th and 17th).

MHT CET 2026 Exam Shift Timings

The MHT CET 2026 exam will be conducted in two shifts for both PCM and PCB streams. The morning shift operates from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. We advise all candidates to reach their designated exam centers well in advance to avoid last-minute congestion.

How to fill out the MHT CET 2026 Application Form?

  8. The application form will be automatically submitted after the successful payment of application fees.

Generally, a pass in Class 12 (or equivalent) is required; however, students currently appearing for their Class 12 board examinations in 2026 are also eligible to apply. Education Qualifications

Candidates must have successfully cleared their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university with the required subject aggregate.  

  1. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics if they want to apply for the Engineering exam.
  2. Physics, Chemistry and Biology if they want to apply for the Pharmacy exam.

Students currently awaiting results for their 12th Board examinations are also eligible to register and participate in the MHT CET 2026 process.

 

MHT CET 2026 Exam Pattern

The MHT CET 2026 curriculum is strictly based on the syllabus prescribed by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. The exam covers three core subjects: Mathematics/Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

  1. Engineering candidates are required to attempt or appear for PCM.
  2. Pharmacy candidates are required to attempt or appear for PCM or PCB.
  3. The mathematics section will be in the English language.
