Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have a two-year postgraduate degree program in any subject from a UGC-recognized university, and other state candidates must meet the general category minimum (55%+) for a Master’s degree. (OR)
- Candidates who have a two-year postgraduate diploma or certificate awarded by an Indian university or institution or a foreign degree or diploma or certificate should get its equivalence verified by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, before applying.
Age Limit
There is no upper age limit for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test. Candidates of any age who meet the required academic qualifications and fulfill the criteria established by the KEA are eligible to appear for the exam.
Note:- Candidates who qualified the UGC-NET or CSIR JRF examination prior to 1989 are not eligible to apply for the KSET.
