The Ministry of Education has officially launched a common recruitment drive for KVS and NVS teaching and non-teaching positions. According to the latest notification, the online registration portal for these vacancies will open on 14th November 2025.

In a strategic move to optimize hiring across central educational institutions, the Ministry of Education is streamlining the recruitment process. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been officially designated to conduct a Common Recruitment Examination for both Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) vacancies.

Following a recent affidavit filed in the Delhi High Court, the Ministry of Education will now manage all teacher and staff recruitment for KVS and NVS through a unified CBSE-led exam. Online applications for the combined recruitment (Advt No 01/2025) commence on 14th November 2025 via the official portals: www.cbse.gov.in, www.kvsangathan.nic.in, and www.navodaya.gov.in. The deadline for form submission is 4th December 2025.

This transition to a joint recruitment model for KVS and NVS under the CBSE represents a major reform aimed at enhancing administrative transparency and operational efficiency. Candidates are encouraged to monitor official channels regularly to stay informed regarding exam patterns and syllabus updates.
