Applicants for the BPSC 72nd CCE 2026 must ensure they meet all educational and age-related eligibility criteria before completing their application. Failure to satisfy the graduation requirements will lead to the automatic rejection of the candidate's application.

Sub-Divisional Protection OfficerCandidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Law from a recognised university. Additionally, one of the following optional subjects must be selected for the Main Examination: Psychology or Law.

Age Limit (as on 01/08/2026)

As of 1st August 2026, the minimum age requirement for candidates is between 20, 21, or 22 years, depending on the specific post. The maximum age limits are strictly regulated by category as defined in the official guidelines.

  • For Unreserved (Male), the maximum age is 37 years.
  • For Unreserved (Female), Backward Class, and Extremely Backward Class (Male and Female), the maximum age is 40 years.
  • For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Male and Female), the maximum age is 42 years.

BPSC CCE Attempt Limit
