Class 1st to 5th (Primary Class) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Class 1st to 5th (Primary Class) Candidates who possess “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” are now eligible for becoming a teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage. Such candidates have to mandatorily undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher
