The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is inviting applications to fill 3835 Jail Warder positions across the UP Jail Department. Following the release of the official notification on December 31, 2025, the recruitment drive is now active. Male and female candidates who have completed their 12th grade can submit their applications online by visiting the official website at www.uppbpb.gov.in.

UP Police Jail Warder Notification 2026 Out

To be eligible for the UP Police Jail Warder Recruitment 2026, candidates must hold a 12th-grade qualification from a recognized board. The prescribed age limit is 18 to 25 years for male applicants and 18 to 28 years for female applicants. The rigorous selection process comprises a written examination, a physical efficiency test, document verification, and a comprehensive medical examination.

How to Apply for UP Police Jail Warder Recruitment 2026?
Register in OTR (One Time Registration)
  1. One time registration for making application will have to be done.
  2. Complete information will be available on the website, http://upprpb.gov.in/Home/Notice par jakar “Apply Here” link.
  3. Apply here by clicking on apply link for making online application.
  4. After applying online, take printout of application form –
    a. Unique Email Id
    b. Unique Mobile Number Id mobile number
    v. Update Email Id with Mobile number correctly
  5. To get OTP for applicant user login click on applicant login and enter captcha.
Online application for recruitment
  1. After registering, candidates have to log in with their registration details (login ID & credentials), and fill out the online application form for direct recruitment.
  2. Candidates can log in through the following methods:
    a. Account ID/Password
    b. Digital Locker
  3. Fill in all perosnal and education details in the application form.
  4. Now, attach the documents, photograph and signature (as per the permissable size) to the application form.
  5. Pay the required application fee through online mode only.
  6. Submit your applications before 30th January 2026.

UP Police Jail Warder Exam Pattern 2026

The UP Police Jail Warder examination will feature an objective-type written test covering four core sections: General Hindi, General Knowledge, Numerical & Mental Ability, and Mental Aptitude/Intelligence/Reasoning.
