UP Home Guard Vacancy 2025 Selection Process
The selection process for the UP Home Guard includes a written examination, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), document verification, and a medical fitness examination.
Written Examination: Candidates will face a 100-mark objective paper containing 100 questions. Qualifying the written exam is mandatory to proceed to the subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
Physical Standards and Document Verification: Upon qualifying the written exam, candidates must clear the Physical Standard Test (PST) and provide all original documents for official verification.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): This test evaluates physical endurance. Candidates are required to complete a running event within a designated timeframe to qualify.

Selected candidates for the Home Guard post will receive a competitive salary package. In addition to the base pay, employees are entitled to various allowances and benefits, including DA, HRA, TA, medical coverage, pension, insurance, and risk allowances. The initial annual compensation package ranges between ₹62,000 and ₹2,42,400 depending on location and duty.
