Eligibility Criteria and Age Relaxations
To apply for the post, candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university and fall within the age bracket of 21 to 30 years. However, upper age relaxations are provided for specific categories:
- Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe: 5 years
- Other Backward Classes: 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disability: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen /Disabled Ex-servicemen: The actual period of service rendered in the defence forces + 3 years subject to a maximum 45 years
- Widows, Divorced women, and women legally separated from their Husbands, who have not remarried: 5 years
- Persons ordinarily domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 1-1-80 to 31-12-89: 5 years
- A resident of Assam State during the period from 01.01.1980 to 15.08.1985: Maximum age shall be 33 years

UIIC Assistant Exam Pattern
The selection process consists of an Online Examination followed by the Regional Language Test. The online exam comprises 200 questions for a total of 250 marks, with a duration of 120 minutes (2 hours). Objective tests except the English Language test are bilingual (English and Hindi). There is a negative marking of 1/4th mark for each incorrect answer.
