Essential Eligibility Criteria for TNUSRB SI Exam 2026

Before stepping into the physical testing phases, applicants must meet specific foundational criteria regarding age and academics:

  • Applicants for the TNUSRB SI Exam 2026 must be between 20 and 30 years of age as of July 1st, 2025.
  • Candidates are required to hold a bachelor's degree from any recognized university or institution for the TNUSRB SI Exam 2026.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT) Requirements

The Physical Measurement Test assesses whether candidates meet the precise height and chest standards mandated by the recruitment board. Note that height and chest measurements are rounded off to the nearest 0.5 cm. Additionally, Ex-servicemen, Ex. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Overview

The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) accounts for 15 marks in the overall selection process. Performance is graded using star ratings based on specific benchmarks across various athletic events.

Physical Standards for Male Candidates (PET)

Male candidates get 3 chances in rope climbing (mandatory to attend), 3 attempts for Long Jump or High Jump, and 1 chance for the 100-meter or 400-meter run.
