SSC GD Vacancy 2025 Important Dates

Interested candidates must complete their online applications at www.ssc.gov.in no later than 11:00 PM on 31st December 2025. An application correction window will be available from 8th to 10th January 2026 for any necessary adjustments.

SSC GD Vacancy 2025-26 Eligibility

Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 23 years of age as of 01-01-2026 (born between 02-01-2003 and 01-01-2008). Relaxation rules apply: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 3 years for Ex-Servicemen. Specific age relaxations (5–10 years) are also provided for victims of the 1984/2002 riots.

Educational Qualification: A Matriculation (10th pass) certificate from a recognized board is required by 01-01-2026. Applicants must present original documentation during verification. NCC certificate holders (A/B/C) are eligible for bonus marks (2-5%) subject to claim verification.

Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible. State-wise vacancies require a valid Domicile or Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC). Assam residents must provide residential proof from their district authorities, while West Pakistani refugees residing in J&K/Ladakh must produce a Nativity Certificate.
