Guidelines to Follow on SSC GD Exam Day
It is crucial that candidates strictly adhere to all instructions provided by the Staff Selection Commission. Please review the following key exam-day guidelines to ensure your participation goes without a hitch:
- Carry your Admit Card: A printed copy of the admit card is mandatory. It contains exam date, shift timing, and exam centre details.
- Bring valid photo ID: Carry one original photo ID proof such as an Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving Licence, or Passport. The Date of Birth on the ID must match the admit card exactly. Online Result
- Carry passport-size photographs: Bring at least two recent passport-size photographs as they may be required for the attendance sheet.
- Arrive before reporting time: Candidates must reach the exam centre around 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned in the SSC GD admit card. Shiksha Entry is denied after gate closing time without exception.
- No electronic devices: Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, and any other electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
- No books or notes: Study materials of any kind are not permitted inside the examination centre.
- Biometric verification: Be prepared for fingerprint scanning, live photo capture, and signature verification at the entry point.
- Rough sheets: Rough sheets provided at the centre must be submitted to the invigilator after the exam. Candidates must not carry pen/pencil to the centre.
- Locate the centre in advance: Candidates should visit or locate their examination centre at least one day before the exam to avoid any delays on exam day.
