The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) officially released the SSC GD Answer Key and Response Sheet on 15th June 2026 for candidates who participated in the written examination for 25,487 Constable vacancies. Aspirants can now access their individual response sheets and question papers online via the official SSC portal at www.ssc.gov.in. 

SSC GD Answer Key 2026 Out

This release includes the question paper and an online portal for submitting objections, catering to approximately 24 lakh candidates who took the Computer-Based Test (CBT) between 27th April and 30th May 2026. If you identify any errors in the provisional keys, you may submit your objections by 20th June 2026 (6:00 PM) for a nominal processing fee of Rs. 50 per question.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the official SSC GD Answer Key 2026 on their website, www.ssc.gov.in. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to download your response sheet efficiently.

1. Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at www.ssc.gov.in.

2. Navigate to the "Quick Links" section on the homepage and click on the "Answer Key" tab.

3. Locate and select the link titled "Uploading of Tentative Answer Keys along with Candidates’ Response Sheet(s) of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination 2026," and review the provided instructions.

4. Return to the main login portal and enter your credentials, including your Registration Number and SSC Password.

Raise Objection Process

After downloading the tentative answer key using your Roll Number and password, evaluate your performance based on the commission's answer key. Should you identify any discrepancies, you may submit a formal challenge by paying a fee of Rs. 50 per contested question. The final deadline to raise objections is 20th June 2026 at 6:00 PM.

Objection Policy Update: Under current guidelines, ambiguous or incorrect questions will be removed, with full marks awarded to all candidates. Questions featuring multiple valid options will grant credit to students selecting any of the correct choices. All challenges are evaluated on merit by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs); the volume of objections has no impact on the final decision. Purely technical errors will be disregarded.

How to Raise Objections Against Official Answer Key?

  • Log in to the SSC website using your registration number and password.
  • Then, under "My Applications", click on "Answer Key Challenge".
  • Select the SSC General Duty Constable Examination-2026.
  • Again, a login page appears, where you have to enter your role number and password.
  • Select the question you want to raise objections to or challenge.
  • Pay a fee of Rs. 50/- for each objection.
  • Repeat the process from point 5 to raise more objections.

How to Calculate Marks Using SSC GD Official Answer Key 2026?

Once you have compared your attempted responses with the official answer key, you can estimate your total marks by applying the exam's marking scheme.

  1. Open the SSC GD Answer Key using your roll number and password.
  2. Start with question 1 and write down whether it is correct or not on a blank piece of paper.
  3. Continue the same procedure for all 80 questions.
  4. Now add on how many correct questions you have answered and how many incorrect answers there are.
  5. Multiply the number of correct answers by 2 and the number of incorrect answers by 0.25.
  6. Subtract the multiplication of correct and incorrect answers.
  7. The answer with the expected marks will be scored in the SSC GD 2026 Exam.
