RRB NTPC UG CBT 1 Result & Cut-Offs Released
On August 24th, 2026, the RRB made results and category-wise cut-off marks available for seven regions: Thiruvananthapuram, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Bilaspur, Siliguri, Muzaffarpur, and Gorakhpur. The following day, results for Guwahati, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar were also released. Candidates can anticipate updates for the remaining 13 regions shortly. This widespread release affects a substantial number of the approximately 50 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam, out of a total of 6,327,474 applicants.

Understanding the Cut-Off Marks
The minimum qualifying marks for CBT 1, before any normalization process, have been set as follows:
- UR / EWS: 40%
- OBC / SC: 30%
- ST: 25%

How to Check the RRB NTPC UG Result
- Download the zone-wise merit list PDFs provided in this article, or navigate to the official website of the specific RRB region you applied to.
- On the homepage, look for a prominent link labeled “RRB NTPC UG CBT 1 Result CEN 07/2025” or a similar announcement, often found in the Results or Notifications section.
- Click on this link. The corresponding zone-wise result PDF and cut-off marks will be displayed on your screen.
- To quickly find your status, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+F (or Cmd+F on Mac) and enter your roll number to see if you have qualified.
- For detailed individual scores, you will need to log in separately to the scorecard portal. This portal will be accessible from August 26th, 2026, at 5 PM. Use your registration number and password/date of birth to access your scorecard.
- It is highly recommended to download and save both your result PDF and your individual scorecard for future reference and record-keeping.

What's Next? Preparing for CBT 2
Candidates who have successfully cleared the CBT 1 stage are now gearing up for the next phase: the Computer-Based Test 2 (CBT 2). The CBT 2 exam is scheduled to be conducted on September 17th, 2026. To ensure candidates are well-prepared and informed, exam city slips will be released 10 days prior to the exam date, followed by admit cards made available 4 days before the examination.
The CBT 1 marks are qualifying in nature, meaning they determine eligibility for CBT 2 but do not contribute to the final merit list. The final selection will be based on the performance in CBT 2 (and Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) for specific posts).
