With over 10.82 million applicants competing for 32,438 Level 1 vacancies, approximately 6 million candidates appeared for the examination. The RRB Group D results will include the roll numbers of successful candidates, comprehensive zone-wise cut-off marks, and individual scorecards. Following the recent resolution of the Telangana High Court petition, the official release is confirmed for the fourth week of June 2026.

Latest Update: The Telangana High Court disposed of the CCAA weightage petition on 16th June 2026, clearing the way for the result publication. The CCAA application correction window was successfully concluded on 23rd June 2026.

Steps to Access Your Zone-wise Merit List PDF:

1. Candidates have to visit the regional website of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) you have applied.

3. The Railway Group D Result & Merit List PDF appears on the screen.
4. Download the result PDF and search for your roll number in the merit list.

Score Normalisation for RRB Group D 2026

Given that the CBT was held over several months across multiple shifts, the RRB employs a standardized percentile-based normalization process to ensure transparency and equity for all candidates.

How Normalisation Works

1. Marks obtained in each shift are transformed into a percentile scale ranging from 0 to 100
2. The percentile score reflects the percentage of candidates who scored equal to or below a given score in that shift
3. This normalised score is used to prepare the final merit list — not the raw score
4. Candidates scoring the same raw marks in different shifts may receive different normalised scores
5. Your Score Card will show BOTH your raw marks and normalised marks. The normalised score is what determines your final ranking and shortlisting status.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for RRB Group D 2026

Eligibility for the next stage is contingent upon achieving the minimum qualifying marks in the CBT. The predefined category-wise qualifying thresholds are as follows:

What Next After RRB Group D CBT Result?

Following the CBT, qualified candidates will advance to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Those who successfully pass the PET will proceed to the Document Verification (DV) stage. Official admit cards for both the PET and DV rounds will be available for download on the Indian Railways regional portals.
