RPF SI Physical Test 2025 Dates, PET, PMT Standards & Schedule

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the schedule and guidelines for the upcoming recruitment stages under CEN RPF 01/2024. A total of 4,725 candidates successfully qualified for the RPF SI Computer Based Test (CBT) and are now eligible to move forward in the recruitment drive, which aims to fill 450 Sub-Inspector vacancies. RPF SI Physical Exam Schedule and Reporting Details

The evaluation process comprising the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification (DV) is scheduled to take place from June 22nd to July 2nd, 2025. All physical trials and evaluations will be held exclusively at the Jagjivan Ram RPF Academy in Lucknow, UP. RPF Physical Measurement Test (PMT) Standards

Candidates must meet specific physical dimension criteria during the PMT stage. Ex-servicemen are exempted from physical efficiency trials but must clear these exact physical measurement standards.

RPF SI Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Guidelines

The PET round tests physical endurance and agility. Note that no additional marks are awarded for the PET stage. For the running event, candidates are allowed only one attempt, whereas for technical events like Long Jump and High Jump, candidates are granted up to two attempts.

• 1,600 metres run: 6 min 30 sec (1 attempt)
• Long Jump: 12 feet (up to 2 attempts)
• High Jump: 3 feet 9 inch (up to 2 attempts)
• 800 metres run: 4 min (1 attempt)
• Long Jump: 9 feet (up to 2 attempts)
• High Jump: 3 feet (up to 2 attempts)

Document Verification (DV) Phase

Following successful completion of the PET and PMT phases, document verification takes place on the same day immediately. Candidates must ensure they carry all original credentials and required validation files to clear this round without issues.
