Rajasthan Home Guard Physical Test 2026: PET/PST Dates, Schedule, and Admit Card

The Home Guards Department of Rajasthan has officially released the exam dates for the 2026 Physical Test, pertaining to the 3,842 vacancies announced under the Rajasthan Home Guard Recruitment 2025. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) are officially set to commence on March 16, 2026, held at various designated centres across the state.

Rajasthan Home Guard Physical Test Dates 2026 Out

The Rajasthan Home Guard selection process for 2026 will take place across 9 major districts. Candidates can access their specific shift timings, venue details, and reporting instructions via the official admit cards, which are available at www.home.rajasthan.gov.in.

A total of 3,842 positions are available under the Rajasthan Home Guard Recruitment 2026. This intake includes 3,545 roles reserved for urban home guard volunteers and 297 positions designated for the Border Home Guard wing.

Rajasthan Home Guard Physical Test Details

Both the PET and PST stages are mandatory qualifying rounds. Failure to meet the prescribed physical requirements will lead to immediate disqualification from the remainder of the recruitment process.

Physical Standard Test (PST)

The initial phase of the Rajasthan Home Guard selection involves the Physical Standard Test (PST). During this stage, authorities will verify height, chest measurements for male candidates, and weight specifications for female candidates.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Upon successfully clearing the PST, candidates will proceed to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). This stage requires participants to complete a 5 km run, with time limits strictly enforced based on the candidate's specific category.

Rajasthan Home Guard Selection Process

There is no written examination for the 2026 recruitment cycle. The final merit list will be determined entirely by performance in the physical tests and the assessment of special qualifications.

• 25 marks are assigned for the PET
• 20 marks for special qualifications.
• This means a total of 45 marks will be used to prepare the merit list.
• This will be followed by document verification and a medical test.
