| 1. Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE. 2. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). 3. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*. 4. Candidates who possess “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” are now eligible for becoming Teachers for Classes I-V: Primary Stage. Such Candidates have mandatory to undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher |

| 1. Graduation and passing or appearing in the final year of 2- a year Diploma in Elementary Education. 2. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). 3. Graduation with at least 45% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), per the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure). 4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). 5. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. 6. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passing or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education). 7. Any candidate having a qualified B.Ed Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in the TET exam. |
