It's important to note that applicants who had previously applied for Clerk or Clerk IT roles under Advertisement No. 11/2025 were required to withdraw those applications and submit a fresh one under Advertisement No. 02/2026 by the March 13th deadline. PSSSB Clerk Selection Process 2026

The selection process for the PSSSB Clerk position involves three distinct stages:

Written Examination Pattern:

The written exam consists of two parts. Part A is a qualifying paper in Punjabi language, requiring a minimum of 50% marks. Part B comprises a subject-specific paper with 120 objective questions, each carrying one mark, for a total of 120 marks. There is no negative marking for incorrect or unattempted answers. The total duration for the Clerk Exam is 2 hours (120 minutes).

Typing Test:

The typing test requires candidates to achieve a speed of 30 words per minute in both English and Punjabi. The Punjabi typing test will be conducted using the Unicode-compliant font Raavi.
