Steps to Apply for PSSSB Recruitment 2026

  1. Candidates who previously applied for Advertisement No. 10 of 2024 must log in using the previously provided User ID and Password.
  2. Review previously entered details and submit the application form after ensuring information is correct and fee is paid.
  3. For new candidates, apply online at https://sssb.punjab.gov.in under 'Online Applications'.
  4. Register for a vacancy, complete your profile, generate a Username, and fill the form.
  5. Upload scanned copies of passport-sized photo, signature, and educational documents (matriculation, 12th, diploma/degree).
  6. Pay the application fee using SBI branch challan, net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI from the next day after form submission.
  7. Download or save a copy of your PSSSB Application Form 2026 for your records.

Exam Pattern & Structure

The written examination consists of two parts:

  • Part A (Punjabi Language Qualifying Test): Has 50 questions for 50 marks in 30 minutes with no negative marking; minimum qualifying mark is 50% (25 marks).
  • Part B: Comprises 100 questions carrying 1 mark each with a negative marking of -1/4 mark for each incorrect answer, lasting 2 hours.
