PSSSB Group B Exam Pattern 2025
Candidates will be assessed through a comprehensive objective-type written examination.
- For the post of Senior Assistant, a typing test in English and Punjabi will be conducted, and for the 14 posts of Junior Auditor (Treasury and Accounts), only an English typing test will be held.
- The merit list of candidates will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written examination.
- In case of a tie in the written exam marks, the following tie-breaking criteria will be followed:
- The candidate who is older in age (based on Date of Birth) will be placed higher in the merit list.
- If the age is also the same, the candidate with higher marks in the required educational qualification for the post will be placed higher.
- If the tie still remains, Matriculation marks will be considered, and the candidate with higher marks in Matriculation will be placed higher.
- Based on the merit list, candidates will be called for counseling for document verification.
PSSSB Group B Salary 2025
Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale range of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 47,600 (Level 6) as per the 7th Pay Commission, inclusive of additional benefits like DA, HRA, and TA.
