3. Welfare Officer (ਸੈਨਿਕ ਭਲਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ)

• Must have passed Matriculation from a recognized board or have the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education.
• Must be an Ex-Junior Commissioned Officer from the Army or equivalent rank from the Navy or Air Force.
• Must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject, or an equivalent exam recognized by the Government.

4. Driver (ਡਰਾਈਵਰ) 

• Must be an Ex-Serviceman.
• Should have passed Middle (8th class) with Punjabi as one of the subjects, or should have an equivalent Army Educational Certificate.
• Must have a valid driving license for a Light Motor Vehicle (LMV).
• As per rules, if the required education is less than Matric, the person must pass a Punjabi language exam at the Middle standard level.

The merit list for Welfare Officer will be calculated based on a total of 100 marks, considering the following criteria:

• Matriculation Certificate : 50 Marks
• Military/Navy/Air Force Service: 50 Marks, distributed as:

(a) Total years of service in the Armed Forces:

1. 30 years and above: 10 Marks
2. 25 to 30 years: 8 Marks
3. Less than 25 years: 6 Marks

2. Recognized Computer Course:  5 Marks
