Stage 1: Online Written Examination

PNB SO 2026 Exam Pattern

• The PNB SO online written examination will consist of two parts i.e. Part I and Part II.
• Part 1 has 100 questions of 100 marks, while part 2 has 50 questions of 100 marks

• The marks of the candidates for paper II will be evaluated only for those who will qualify for paper I of the online written examination.

Interview Phase: Candidates who meet the qualifying standards in both parts of the exam will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview.

• The Interview is worth 50 marks.
• Minimum qualifying marks: 45% for SC/ST and 50% for other category candidates.
• Candidates who meet the minimum marks in the Interview will be considered for selection based on their total score from the Online Test (Part II) and the Interview.

PNB Specialist Officer Salary 2026

Officers appointed to JMG Scale I posts will earn a competitive starting basic salary of Rs. 48,480 per month, supplemented by standard bank allowances including DA, HRA, and CCA.

Pay Scale: Rs. 48,480 – 85,920 (approximate structure based on current guidelines).
