Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy specific educational, age, and nationality requirements before submitting their application:

NIACL Assistant Eligibility Criteria - Educational Qualification

  • Minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
  • Passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/ Intermediate/ Graduation level.
  • Possess a certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as of the date of application registration.
  • Knowledge of Reading, Writing, and Speaking of Regional Language of the State / UT against the vacancies applied for.

NIACL Assistant Eligibility Criteria - Nationality

  • Citizen of India
  • Subject of Nepal
  • Subject of Bhutan
  • Tibetan refugee who arrived in India prior to January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanent settlement
  • Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, East African countries, or the United States of America with the intention of permanently settling in India, along with migrants from the Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam

Applicants must hold a recognized graduation degree and be aged between 21 and 30 years. Age relaxations apply to various reserved categories as follows:

  • OBC: 3 Years
  • PwD: 10 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen: 5 Years
  • Widows/Divorced women: 5 Years
  • Persons domiciled in Kashmir Division: 5 Years
