The Ministry of Education (MoE) has officially sanctioned 987 Special Educator posts to provide essential support for Children with Special Needs (CwSN) across the country. Recruitment for these TGT and PRT Special Educator positions is slated to commence in early February 2026; updates will be available at https://kvsangathan.nic.in/.
KVS Special Educator Vacancy 2026 Out
KVS has provisionally allocated these openings to various Kendriya Vidyalayas nationwide, incorporating feedback from regional offices. The sanctioned strength includes 493 Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) posts and 494 Primary Teacher (PRT) posts. - TGT: maximum 35 years
- PRT: maximum 30 years
KVS Special Educator Vacancy 2026 Selection Process
- Tier 1: Written CBT (180 marks) covering General English, Hindi, Reasoning, Perspectives on Education, and Subject-Specific knowledge.
- Tier 2: Professional Competency Test (Demo Teaching & Interview) worth 60 marks.
- Final Merit: Usually prepared with a weightage ratio of 70:30 (Written: Interview).
