The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), conducting the recruitment for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), has officially declared the Tier 2 selection schedule. Candidates who qualified in the Tier 1 examination are now eligible to proceed to this second stage. According to the latest official notification, the KVS NVS Tier 2 examination will be held from March 27th to March 31st, 2026.
KVS NVS Tier 2 Exam Date 2026 Out
Participation in the Tier 2 assessment is strictly limited to those who successfully cleared the KVS NVS Tier 1 Result 2026. The examination format includes a combination of objective and descriptive questions. As outlined in the official mandate, the testing period will span five days, with two distinct shifts scheduled daily.
KVS NVS Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2026
The KVS NVS Tier 2 exam paper evaluates candidates through a mix of objective and descriptive sections. The test comprises 70 questions in total, consisting of 60 objective-type questions and 10 descriptive-type questions. Candidates will have a total allotted time of 2.5 hours to complete the examination.
