Eligibility Criteria & Age Limits

To apply for the JPSC Civil Services Examination 2026, candidates must meet specific educational and age requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized University incorporated by an Act of Central/State Legislature or UGC Act 1956.

Steps to Fill JPSC Application Form 2026

  1. Go to the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) home page and click on the “Online Application” tab, or use Apply Online: JPSC Application Form 2026.
  2. Click on the link for “Combined Civil Services Examination-2026.” If you are a new user, select “Click Here for New Registration” to create your profile using a valid email ID and mobile number.
  3. Log in with your generated Registration ID and Password. Enter your name (as per Matriculation certificate), father’s name, date of birth, and educational qualifications accurately.
  4. Upload scanned copies of the photograph (15–25 KB, .jpg/.jpeg) and signature (10–15 KB, .jpg/.jpeg) in the prescribed formats.
  5. Log in again after one working day (typically after 12:00 PM) to complete the payment.
  6. Review all details carefully before the final submit, as no changes are permitted afterward. Once submitted, download and print the Registration Slip and application form for future reference.

Preliminary Exam Pattern (19th April 2026)

The prelims comprise two compulsory papers administered on Sunday, 19th April 2026. General Studies I takes place from 10 am to 12 pm, and General Studies II runs from 3 pm to 5 pm.
