JAIIB 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Common candidates are not eligible for the JAIIB exam. Only regular members of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance can apply for the JAIIB Exam 2026.
• JAIIB exam is only for candidates who are already employed in the banking and finance industry and whose employers are members of the Institute that fulfill the JAIIB eligibility.
• The employee must be holding a passing certification of the 12th standard examination in any discipline or its equivalent.
• The candidates, at the discretion of the institute, may be allowed to appear for the JAIIB exam even if they have not passed the 12th board exam. However, in such a case, candidates need the recommendation of the Manager or officer-in-charge of the bank.
• Subordinate staff of recognised Banking/ Financial Institutions in India, who are members of the Institute, are eligible to appear at the examination, provided they have passed the 12th standard examination or its equivalent.

The online application window for the JAIIB November 2026 session opens on August 1st, 2026, via the official IIBF portal (http://www.iibf.org.in/). Candidates must submit their completed applications between August 1st and August 21st, 2026. Please note that only online applications are accepted, and candidates should have all required documents prepared prior to starting the process. 

Steps to Apply Online for the IIBF JAIIB Exam 2026

Follow the step-by-step instructions below to accurately complete your JAIIB 2026 online registration:

1. Visit the official website of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance at iibf.gov.in.
2. On the home page, click on the ‘Examination/Courses’ option appearing on the left side of the screen.
3. Select the ‘Flagship Courses’ out of the given options.
4. Choose JAIIB, and a new page will open where you can proceed with the JAIIB online application.
5. Enter your required details carefully and attach the required documents.
6. Pay the application fee online.
7. Submit your JAIIB application form before the last date.

JAIIB 2026 Admit Card

The JAIIB 2026 admit card will be available for download on the official IIBF website approximately 7 to 10 days before the exam date. It is mandatory for all candidates to carry a printed copy of the hall ticket to the examination center to gain entry.
