India Post has initiated recruitment for 28,636 Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) vacancies. This drive invites 10th-pass candidates to apply across 23 postal circles for the roles of Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), and Dak Sevak.  The official application correction window is open for a limited period (18th & 19th February 2026) at https://app.indiapost.gov.in/gdscandidate.

Following the conclusion of the online application phase, authorities will soon publish the 1st merit list PDF at https://indiapost.gov.in/gdsonlineengagement. Selection is strictly merit-based, derived from Class 10 examination marks, with no additional written test required.
