The recruitment process is divided into two primary stages: Tier I (Objective Written Test) and Tier II (Practical Driving Test & Interview). Achieving a qualifying status in both is mandatory for final selection.

Tier-I: Written Examination (Objective Type)

The Tier-I online objective test evaluates candidates on General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English Language, and specialized Basic Transport/Driving Rules. The exam comprises 100 questions (1 mark each) to be completed within 60 minutes. Please note there is a negative marking penalty of 1/4 mark for every incorrect answer.

Tier-II: Motor Mechanism & Driving Test cum Interview

Candidates who successfully qualify for the Tier I written test will be invited to the practical driving skill assessment and personal interview.

• Driving Test: Candidates will be required to drive a motor vehicle as per instructions. Their ability to handle the vehicle smoothly and safely will be assessed.
• Motor Mechanism Knowledge: Practical knowledge of identifying and removing minor defects/snags in the vehicle, along with upkeep & maintenance, will be tested.
