Educational Qualifications & Checklists
- Candidate must be a Graduate in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from a recognised university or an institution approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Must be registered as a Medical Practitioner with the MCI or any State Medical Council in India.
- Must have knowledge of Hindi or Sanskrit.
- Preference will be given to candidates holding an MD/MS degree or an MCI-approved PG diploma.
Age Limit & Relaxations
The age limit for candidates is 22 to 35 years as of January 7, 2026. Age relaxations apply to designated categories as follows:

Selection Process & Mark Allocation
The selection procedure comprises a Written Test, evaluation of professional qualifications, and Document Verification.

- Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS): 14 marks
- Post Graduate Diploma: 10 marks
- Professional Experience in any Government-aided health institution, facility, boards, or corporations: 10 marks maximum (@ 2 marks per year)
