Gurugram Court Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Please note that the selection criteria differ for each post, as explicitly outlined in the official recruitment notification.
For Clerk Posts-
The recruitment process consists of a written examination followed by a mandatory computer proficiency test.
Written Examination
- Subjects: English Composition (50 Marks) and General Knowledge (50 Marks).
- Qualifying Marks: 40% aggregate, with a minimum of 33% in each subject.
Computer Proficiency Test: Candidates who qualify for the written examination will be invited to this stage. This test is qualifying in nature and will not impact the final merit ranking.
Requirement: Applicants must demonstrate English typing proficiency at a speed of 30 w.p.m.
For Stenographer Grade-III
The selection process for the Stenographer Grade-3 role includes a shorthand test and a computer proficiency assessment.
Shorthand Test:
Applicants must meet a speed of 80 w.p.m. in English Shorthand and maintain a 20 w.p.m. transcription speed on a computer.
Computer Proficiency Test:
This assessment evaluates proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications. It is a qualifying requirement.
