Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualifications

Candidates must verify their qualifications carefully. The age limit as on 15/7/2026 is not exceeding 30 years.

Age Limit (as on 15/7/2026) not exceeding 30 years
TGT Computer Science Candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application (BCA) from a recognised university.
OR
Graduation in computer science from a recognized university. (provided that the computer science subject must be studied in all years as main subject)
OR
BE/B.Tech. (Computer Science/Information Technology) from a recognised university.
OR
Graduation in any subject and β€˜A’ level course from DOEACC, Ministry of Information & Communication Technology, Govt of India.
Domestic Science Teacher Candidates must have possessed a bachelor’s degree in Domestic Science / Home Science and Education with Domestic Science / Home Science as a teaching subject from a recognised university/institute
TGT Special Education Candidates must have completed their graduation degree from a recognised university/institute.
Also candidates must have BEd (Special Education/General with 1 or 2 year diploma) OR B.Ed Special Education and Post-graduate professional Certificate in Special Education (PGPC);

Exam Pattern and Syllabus Structure

The computer-based test is divided into two sections (Section A and Section B). There are 100 questions in each section for 1 mark per question, bringing the total to 200 questions and 200 marks. The overall duration of the examination is 2 hours. Negative marking of 0.25 marks is applicable, and questions will be bilingual (Hindi & English) except for language papers.
