Eligibility Criteria, Age Limits & Qualifications

Candidates must satisfy the required educational qualifications and age parameters as of 25th March 2026. The minimum age limit is 20 years, and the maximum age limit is 30 years.

  • Meritorious Sports Persons: Up to 05 Years (10 Years for SC/ST, 08 Years for OBC)
  • Disabled Defence Services Personnel: 45 Years (50 Years for SC/ST, 48 Years for OBC)

Exam Patterns & Minimum Qualifying Marks

Negative marking applies at 0.50 marks per incorrect answer. Grade 2 ASO minimum qualifying benchmarks are:

  • General/EWS – 40%
  • OBC (Delhi) – 35%
  • SC/ST/PH (PwBD) – 30%
  • Ex-servicemen will be given 5% relaxation in their respective categories, subject to a minimum of 30%.

Steps to Apply for DSSSB ASO Recruitment 2026

Follow this procedure to submit your online application successfully:

  1. Go to the official website of Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board, DSSSB https://dsssb.delhi.gov.in/.
  2. Go to “Careers” and click on “Apply Online for Recruitment to the post- DSSSB PRT 2025”- “Click Here for Registration”.
  3. Enter the details like name, contact details, and email address, and click on submit.
  4. A provisional registration ID and Password will be sent to your email address.
  5. The candidate has to log in with a Registration ID and Password and enter the complete details like Name, father’s name, Address, Date of birth, etc;
  6. Candidates are required to attach all the required documents like SSC mark sheets, category certificates for reserved candidates, PwD certificates for PwD candidates.
  7. Attach the photographs and signature (not more than a 3-month-old photo is allowed).
  8. Candidates have to verify all the details before clicking on “Final Submit”.
  9. No changes are entertained once the candidate clicks on the “Final Submit button.
  10. Validate your details by clicking on “Validate your Details”.
  11. Modify the details if required and click on “Final Submit”.
  12. Candidates are redirected to the payment page and pay the required amount to complete the registration process.
  13. Pay the application fee and click on the final submit tab.
  14. Download and take a print copy of the DSSSB ASO Application Form 2026.
