DSSSB ASO Selection Process 2026

The selection process for the DSSSB ASO position is multi-staged, and candidates must successfully qualify in every stage to move forward in the recruitment cycle.

Stage 1- Written Examination (Tier I): A 200-mark objective test comprising 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Stage 2- Written Examination (Tier II): A combined format consisting of objective-type and descriptive-type questions.

  • Tier 1 is a computer-based test (CBT) consisting entirely of objective-type (MCQ) questions, while Tier 2 Paper will consist of 300 questions both objective and descriptive.
  • DSSSB ASO Tier-I examination is only qualifying in nature and used for short listing only. However, mandatory minimum qualifying marks criteria will be applicable in Tier-I Examination.
