Delhi Police Physical Test Dates 2026 Out for Constable & Head Constable

The Delhi Police has officially released the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) dates and schedule for CBT-qualified candidates for Constable (Executive) and other posts for 2026. Over 66,000 qualified candidates have been shortlisted to participate in the physical examination.

For the Constable (Executive) category, there are a total of 7,201 vacancies, comprising 4,825 for male candidates and 2,376 for female candidates. Candidates preparing for this rigorous phase should carefully check the schedules, requirements, and guidelines outlined below.

PE&MT Schedule Across Different Posts

The physical test for Constable (Executive) and Head Constable positions will be conducted from 19th August to 1st September 2026 in an offline mode. Meanwhile, dates for other designations will be published soon.

Delhi Police PE & MT Test Format / Sequence of Events

The physical test follows a strict sequence of events. Review the guidelines below:

1. Candidates who qualify in the Race become eligible for the further events – Long Jump and High Jump.
2. Candidates get three attempts each to qualify in the Long Jump and High Jump.
3. The Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be conducted only for candidates who qualify in the Physical Endurance Test (Race, Long Jump, and High Jump).

Please note that no appeal against disqualification in the Race, Long Jump, or High Jump will be entertained.
