The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a vital update regarding the CTET 2026 examination. The CTET registration portal will officially reopen on December 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM, specifically for candidates who initiated their registration but failed to complete the submission process. This window remains active until December 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM; candidates are urged to finalize their applications promptly to avoid missing this final opportunity.
Previously, 25,30,581 candidates successfully submitted their applications. Data shows a significant surge in traffic, with 3,53,218 registrations completed the day before the deadline and 4,14,981 on the final day. To support this influx, the board maintained active helpline services throughout the registration period to resolve technical queries in real time.
CTET Online Registration 2026 Reopens
Following reports of portal technical difficulties, the board addressed numerous requests for a deadline extension. Approximately 1,61,127 candidates were unable to complete their registration, prompting officials to reopen the portal. This extension is exclusively for those who previously registered but left their application forms in an incomplete state.
During this reopening window, candidates who previously initiated the CTET 2026 application process can log in to finish their submission. Candidates are encouraged to verify and edit their details thoroughly before final submission, as no further corrections will be permitted once the process is complete.

No New CTET Registrations Allowed
