Step-by-Step Registration and Application Procedures
Part A- CMAT 2026 Candidate Registration
- Visit the official NTA website at www.cmat.nta.nic.in / www.nta.ac.in.
- Click on New Registration link.
- Fill in the details of online Registration using your own Email Id and Mobile No.
- Note down the system-generated Application Number once the registration is done.
Part B- CMAT 2026 Application Form
- Login to the site again with the Registration credentials.
- Fill up the application form with all the necessary details carefully.
- Upload the required scanned image of a recent photograph.
- Upload the scanned image of the candidate's signature.
- A scanned image of the PwD certificate if applicable must also be uploaded.
- Pay the CMAT 2026 Application fee using SBI/HDFC Bank through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI and keep proof of fee paid.
- Download, save and print a copy of the Confirmation Page of the Application Form for future reference.
Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The examination runs for a duration of 3 hours and is conducted across two shifts: morning shift (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM) and afternoon shift (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM). It consists of 100 total objective-type questions carrying a maximum of 400 marks. Each correct answer awards 4 marks, while incorrect responses incur a deduction of 1 mark. Unanswered questions receive no marks. Furthermore, if a question is dropped due to a technical error, full marks are given to all candidates.
