Special Assam TET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Before registering for the Special Assam TET 2026, candidates must carefully verify that they meet all educational qualification requirements. Educational Qualification for Lower Primary TET (Classes I to V)
- Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (OR) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) (OR)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (OR)
- Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
Educational Qualification for Upper Primary TET (Classes VI to VIII)
- Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (OR) At least 50% marks in Graduation and B. Ed. (OR)
- At least 55% marks in Post Graduation or equivalent grade and three year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. (OR)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed) (OR)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4- year B.A./B. Sc. Ed. Or B.A. Ed/B. Sc. Ed. (OR)
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B. Ed.(Special Education)
